Outside the traditional classroom, YSE provides a range of engaging opportunities designed to spark interest and promote understanding in various scientific fields. From structured programs to exciting workshops, we have something for every young explorer.

Lab Materials

 Essential items for a youth science lab include safety gear fundamental lab tools, and common household for engaging, hands-on experiments. All these  are provided for the initial learning groups for free. 

  • Experimental Samples: Materials being tested.
  • Reagents: Hazard-free chemicals used in conducting the experiments.
  • Digital Scale: For accurately weighing solid ingredients.
  • Writing Materials: For taking notes during the conducting of experiments.
  • Labwares
    • Beakers and Flasks: Used for holding, mixing, and heating liquids. Plastic versions are a great, durable option for youth labs.
    • Graduated Cylinders: Provide more accurate measurement of liquid volumes than beakers.
    • Syringes/Droppers: Ideal for handling small, precise amounts of liquids.
    • Multi-well plates: Plates with multiple wells for micro titrations.
    • Measuring Spoons/Cups: Common household items that work well for measuring solid materials.
    • Thermometer: To measure the temperature of substances and reactions.
